The homie C.Z. just put me up on Mach Five. Check out the first two installments of the Ratchet Shit Trilogy. As you may have guessed by the name, both volumes straight thump. Enjoy.
“It’s difficult to find rappers rapping when so many are exchanging hard-hitting verses for auto-tune cries and vying for GQ covers. Mach Five‘s catchy hooks and scathing verses make Ratchet Shit Vol. 1 one of the most exciting efforts Hip-Hop has offered 2012. This abrasive and interesting work will take listeners on a familiar ride with the rapping renegades.
The critically acclaimed duo comprised of A.ware and Corey Davis talk girls, drugs, partying and the low-life occasionally bringing in a few friends like Project Pat and last year’s breakthrough rapper, Danny Brown. The first volume of the Ratchet Shit trilogy is orchestrated by Asston Kusher, presented by 2DopeBoyz and hosted by the legendary OG Ron C. While the music is a satirical homage to “ratchet” lifestyle there is nothing low-brow about what ‘hood brilliance Mach Five has cooked up this go ’round!

“The long awaited hip hop music and film series by Phraydoe Peans. Peans prides himself on developing new ways to reach people with his art. His belief in quality over quantity has allowed him to become the 1st hip hop artist to release his musical work, The Planet Peans series, as a music/film series. Starting in the spring of 2012 he will release a monthly episode of the Planet Peans series, Showcasing one of his original songs with a short film directed and written by him, bringing a new fresh cutting edge perspective to hip hop Culture. The Planet Peans series mixes elements such as Alfred Hitchcock and the Twilight Zone but with a modern hip hop twist, a never before seen approach on hip hop and the world of music and film overall.”
